Is a Ghanaian female-owned agro processing company
Established by an entrepreneur with over 15 years’ experience in various agric value chains. The agric value chain in Ghana (and many other African countries) is challenged by low farm yields, low productivity, high post-harvest losses which all lead to loss of income for the farmer and ultimately loss of value for the nation.
At Mekane we are contributing our bit to tackle one challenge at a time, starting with targeting the post-harvest losses of farmers. Through our processing activities we are able to preserve, transform and innovate across various agric value chains, creating value for farmers, limiting food wastage, while giving the consumer various options for a healthy lifestyle.

Our Children are our future and at Mekane we promote healthy delicious fruit snacks to school kids to nourish their exploring minds and feed their inquisitive hunger.
Through our “Fruity Fridays” initiative, we encourage kids to snack fruitier and healtier.
Our CSR program aims at providing scholarships for brainy but needy children. Our first school we collaborate with is St Mathew School in Mataheko-Afienya. A community based school promoting affordable quality education for all.
